Model 53BTX

The Eaton Model 53BTX Ball Type Duplex Basket Strainer ensures continuous flow during maintenance with its innovative ball valve design, allowing seamless basket switching without shutdown. Built for durability, it’s available in iron, bronze, carbon steel, or stainless steel to suit various industrial applications.

With Teflon seats, double-stem O-rings, and a dynamic sealing mechanism, it provides reliable performance and extended service life. Designed for convenience, it features an easy-to-operate lever handle, piston-seal basket cover, side drain plugs, and a vent valve for maintenance ease. Foot pads ensure stable installation, while the 316 stainless steel ball design enhances durability. The Model 53BTX is a dependable and efficient solution for continuous filtration needs.

Model 72

The Eaton Model 72 Simplex Basket Strainer has set the industry standard for over 75 years, offering dependable performance for industrial and commercial use. Its large basket capacity provides a free straining area at least six times the pipe’s cross-sectional area, ensuring efficient filtration.

With a quick-opening, tool-free cover and precision-machined basket seats, maintenance is fast and secure, preventing material bypass. Built with thick walls and mounting feet for stability, it’s designed to handle demanding applications. Additional features include threaded drains, 316 stainless steel baskets, and optional accessories like MONEL® baskets, vent valves, and pressure gauges.

Durable and ABS Type Approved, the Model 72 is a reliable choice for heavy-duty filtration needs.

Model 73

The Eaton Model 73 Straight Flow Basket Strainer is a durable solution for industrial and commercial filtration needs. Built from ductile iron or bronze, it features flanged connections (10″ to 18″) and a straight-through flow design to reduce pressure loss. The convoluted 316 stainless steel basket offers excellent dirt-holding capacity with options for perforations (1/32″ to 1/2″) and mesh sizes (20, 40, or 60).

Its quick-open cover and hand-removable basket enable tool-free cleaning, while the threaded drain and Buna-N O-ring seal ensure leak-proof operation. Compact and efficient, the Model 73 is customizable with optional vent valves, drain valves, and pressure gauges for tailored performance.

Model 85 Y-strainer

The Eaton Model 85 Y-Strainer offers a reliable and cost-effective solution for removing unwanted solids from liquid, gas, or steam pipelines. Designed to protect critical equipment like pumps, meters, valves, and steam traps, this strainer uses a perforated or wire mesh element for effective filtration. Constructed from durable carbon steel or stainless steel, the Model 85 features bolted or threaded covers for easy maintenance and standard stainless-steel screens for optimal performance.
