The Betts EPVE8558 model is a robust manhole assembly designed for secure tank access and reliable pressure management in industrial applications. It features a bolted design with a Ø500mm manhole, integrated with a Ø254mm PAF 7545 pressure relief valve (PRV) for emergency venting, and a 6866AL vent for normal operations.

This assembly meets various international standards such as ADR 2009 and EN13314:2002, ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements. The manhole is engineered for durability, featuring a 24-hole bolt pattern for secure attachment and provisions for additional tank management tools like vapor recovery vents.

The EPVE8558’s PRV not only offers emergency pressure relief but also serves as an inspection hatch with safety features, including a secondary catch for safer pressure release. Its normal vent incorporates rollover protection, enhancing product retention under all conditions.

The Betts EPVE8558 model features a secure and reliable manhole assembly designed for efficient tank access and pressure control, suitable for a range of industrial settings. Equipped with a Ø500mm bolted manhole and a Ø254mm PAF 7545 pressure relief valve (PRV), this unit ensures emergency tank venting to maintain safe internal pressures.

It also includes a robust 6866AL vent for standard pressure and vacuum conditions. Meeting a variety of regulatory standards including ADR 2021 and EN14595:2016, the assembly guarantees compliance with current safety protocols.

With an industry-standard 24-hole pattern and provisions for additional safety and management features, the EPVE8547 manhole cover ensures both functionality and material resilience with a minimum 12% elongation. Additionally, its PRV acts as an inspection hatch with enhanced safety mechanisms, and its standard vent offers rollover protection for consistent product retention.

This assembly meets stringent international standards, including ADR 2021, EN13317:2018, and EN13314:2002, while the normal vent conforms to EN14595:2016 for additional compliance assurance. The manhole cover is built with a durable 24-hole bolt pattern and integrated provisions for vapor recovery vents and overfill protection sensors, offering versatility and ease of installation.

Engineered for safety, the PRV doubles as a quick open inspection hatch with a secondary safety catch to release pressure before fully opening, while the normal vent incorporates rollover protection to prevent product loss across various tank orientations.

DBVR6410 - Vapour Recovery Vent

The Dixon Bayco Vapour Recovery Vent is engineered for bottom-loading tanker applications, ensuring optimal venting during loading and unloading processes. Constructed from durable aluminum with Acetal Guides, Stainless Steel Piston, and Baylast™ seals, it includes a cork/Nitrile Rubber gasket for enhanced sealing.

This vapour vent is designed for sequential operation but can also function independently, easily mounting to manholes or tanker walkways. Its inward opening poppet feature maintains compartment pressure and ensures product retention during transit.

Compatible with various brands found in the Australian market, this vent can be integrated with other pneumatically controlled devices for a streamlined operation. For specific fuel compatibility, consultation with a Dixon office is recommended.

API valves

API valves are essential for the bottom loading and unloading of petroleum tankers, offering a reliable and efficient solution. They feature an ergonomic curved handle with a short 62-degree stroke for easy operation and are available with either fixed or removable handles. Maintenance can be performed without removing the valve, simplifying servicing.

Designed for compatibility, these valves are interchangeable with competitor products adhering to the same specifications. A cast anode connection point combats galvanic corrosion, while biofuel compatibility supports up to E100 (Ethanol 10%) and B100 (Biodiesel 100%), making them suitable for modern fuel systems

Constructed from durable materials, the valves feature an aluminium body and handle, an anodized hard-coat aluminium nose ring, and seals made from Baylast™, FKM, and PTFE. An acrylic full-body sight glass provides visual monitoring, and stainless-steel hardware ensures long-lasting performance. Approved to API RP-1004 standards, these valves are a trusted choice for tanker operations.

Drop adaptors

Drop adaptors are designed for use with standard API valves, providing a seamless connection for gravity drop operations in fuel loading and unloading systems. Featuring an industry-standard API female connection, these adaptors easily couple with standard API valves, offering either a 3-inch or 4-inch male camlock adaptor for versatility in application.

Built for durability and efficiency, the adaptors feature a quality cast aluminium body with an optional sight glass for visual monitoring. A standard one-piece body design ensures reliability, while various seal options cater to different operational requirements.

The materials used include a robust cast aluminium body, bronze cam arms for secure connections, and stainless-steel pins and finger rings for enhanced strength and durability. These drop adaptors are a dependable solution for gravity drop applications in demanding environments.

Side seal elbow

Side-seal drop elbows provide a quick and secure connection for transferring products from road tankers to underground storage tanks. Designed for standard 3-inch and 4-inch side-seal fill collars, they feature spring-loaded levers for easy and reliable attachment to side-seal adaptors, ensuring safe and efficient product transfer.

With a modular bolt-on construction, these elbows are easy to maintain. They include an acrylic sight glass for visual monitoring and offer options for 3-inch or 4-inch inlets, along with an anti-spill sleeve for added safety.

Made from durable materials, the elbows have an aluminium body, bronze levers, acrylic sight glass, and Baylast™ seals, ensuring reliable performance in demanding applications.

Footvalve

Footvalves are designed for road tankers to ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of tank contents. They provide reliable operation in critical applications, prioritizing safety during product transfer.

These valves feature a quick-action high-lift mechanism operated pneumatically or manually, offering flexibility and ease of use. The main body incorporates a shear groove design for added safety and can be easily removed for routine maintenance, ensuring long-term reliability.

Constructed with durability in mind, the valves use aluminium for the body, stainless steel for the shaft and roller, and steel springs and fasteners, making them robust and dependable in demanding tanker operations.
